"Or I won't make you any of my awesome grilled cheese," he replied, trying to keep his face as serious as possible. After all, there weren't many foods more awesome than grilled cheese and Zoe could probably burn a piece of bread by just looking at it… That meant she had to rely on others to give her the toasted cheesy goodness that was grilled cheese. Everyone should fear a threat of that nature.
"Suuure," he said, giving her a doubtful look. Oh he knew that was what happened because he doubted that Zoe would lie to him, but that didn't mean that he had to let her know that he believed her just yet. It was more fun just dragging it out like he didn't. He enjoyed the little huffy faces she made at him.
And of course the doubtful look melted away into a gleefully amused look at her reaction to his news as to how long he'd be at Luna Bay. "Would I really be that meant?" He reached into his pocket and dug out his new class schedule for LBU and held it out to show Zoe. "All signed up to start school here and everything. I was at orientation before this. Boring as hell." It brought back his repressed memories of his first orientation at Rosalind and so he was quite happy to push those memories away again. "That means now you are stuck with me being able to do more than just text you."
