"You'd better be," Gage said, setting her back on her feet. He was certain that he could keep swinging her around for a while, but he was also certain that he was liable to fall over and hurt one of them or make them both sick. He wasn't looking to start his time in Luna Bay with Zoe being ill.
He quirked an eyebrow, giving her a disbelieving look. "Blaming your phone? Tsk, tsk, Zoe." Not that Gage was really one to talk considering he'd managed to do any number of things to his phone from letting the battery die for days without noticing, to dropping it in the toilet, losing it and misplacing in various odd places.
"Yep. Teeny tiny part being here right now. And as for how long I'll be here…" He adopted a thoughtful look and raised his hand, counting on his fingers. "Oh, you know… A year… Two… Three… More. Something like that." He smirked at her, waiting for a reaction.
He wondered how long it would be for her to get over her excitement of him being here like that to ask why… Hopefully he'd have a bit...
