Dean couldn't help but laugh and shake his head at her admission. He could only guess how Chris had reacted to Ingrid's...assistance but it seemed like it had worked out for the best. "I can only imagine how thrilled he must have been hearing from you. Especially about that," he told her once he'd quit laughing. He'd seen the way the younger Turner brother had treated Ingrid after the breakup and while a part of him couldn't blame him for being pissed, he hadn't ever been okay with the way he'd treated his friend.
"Somebody had to do something though. Those two might have grown old waiting on the other to make a move," he told her with a shrug.
He grinned at her outrageous guess and couldn't resist the temptation to tease her about it. "Oh come on Ing. If I won the lottery I'd be on my private island right now with swimsuit models. And I guess my family could have some little huts on the island. I'd need you to come with them to help me run things though. You'd live at the main house with me and the models," he said trying to sound serious but failing.
He cleared his throat and got serious for a moment as they drove. "Promise not to tell anybody? I put in to transfer back to Luna Bay to finish off law school," he told her. He hadn't mentioned it to anybody just in case the transfer didn't work out.
