Who: Iris Keegans What: Who knows?! Where: NYC; The Four Seasons Hotel When: Monday, June 16th; 8 p.m. Rating: TBA Status: Thread / Incomplete Open/Closed: Open to anyone!
Iris couldn't wait until it was nine. Her afternoon shift had been awful, and in the short amount of time that she'd been doing the housekeeping duties she'd learned it was always the crappier shift. At least the noon shift's housekeepers didn't have to deal with visitors! They had the pleasant task of simply picking up after the guests and turning a room back to its original state.
The afternoon and evening shifts, though?
They had the job of answering every single ridiculous whim. More pillows! Fluffier pillows! More blankets! Toasty blankets! And those were just the common requests. Tonight alone, she'd had to run all the way up to the Presidential Suite to deliver a new toilet seat. Seriously, what did people do that required a new toilet seat? Or a better question may be what happened to the original toilet seat? She honestly had no idea, and she tried to not think about it too much.
It tended to make less sense that way.
She was just heading back down the hallway after picking up a pile of incredibly soiled sheets when she spied the elevator doors sliding closed. "Hold it!" she cried, running at full speed. Hotel staff wasn't supposed to interact with guests outside of answering questions and doing as they were requested, but rules would have to be bent for the time being.
