It was possible that her reaction had been a little too enthusiastic. She wasn't thinking about that at the moment, though. She was genuinely excited about what he had planned for them, and she didn't think that she needed to hide that excitement from him. It was a good thing, after all. At least, she thought it was a good thing.
Meghan glanced over her shoulder at him as they made their way up the spiral staircase. If he was staring at her backside, she didn't seem to notice. Not that she would've been angry with him. She knew that she had a nice rear end, and she would've been flattered if she'd caught him admiring it.
"It really, really is," she agreed as they looked out the window.
A short while later, once they'd thoroughly explored the upstairs, he slid down the fireman's pole. She watched as he landed several feet below, and a bright smile moved over her features. This was one of the things she'd been excited about, but her heart began to pound as she stepped to the edge. Luckily, that brief nervousness didn't stop her from reaching out and taking hold of the pole. She bit her bottom lip and giggled as she slid down to the next floor. Her feet connected with the ground a little harder than she'd intended, but she didn't complain. In fact, there was still a bright grin stretched across her features.
