It went without saying, but she definitely looked good. He would've been more than happy to spend a little time appreciating her appearance, but that would've required him to let her go. As far as he was concerned, that wasn't something he wanted to do any time soon.
"Trick," he answered. "He wanted me to come back... bought me a ticket.."
As he spoke, he carried her into the apartment and kicked the door closed. Locking it wasn't one of his priorities. Instead, he was focused on her... on holding her as close as possible.
"You're so beautiful," he breathed as their eyes locked.
It had only been a week since they'd seen one another, but it felt like a small eternity. He didn't think anyone could blame him for that, though. After all, they hadn't spent any time together since they'd officially become a couple.
