"You kicked that wall?" he repeated. It might have been a little more amusing if she hadn't been so obviously upset.
Something clenched in his gut when she admitted that they'd kissed. He didn't really have a right to be jealous and he tried his best not to let his emotions show, but he hated the thought that she'd kissed someone else. They weren't exclusive, of course, and she'd been completely honest with him regarding her relationship with Gray, but that didn't mean he liked it. It wasn't the first time he'd gotten involved with a girl who had feelings with someone else. A part of him was terrified he would lose her to the other man. He was trying his best to push those fears away, though. He told himself that as long as she was happy, he would be, too.
His brow furrowed as she continued to speak. A part of him wanted to punch the guy for hurting her. A part of him wanted to kick the wall, himself, at hearing that the asshols had told her he loved her. A part of him wanted to smirk at the knowledge of the way that douche had acted. The way he saw it, if that guy was going to be a dick to her, it only improved Tyler's chances with her.
"He told you he loved you?" he asked quietly as he pulled her feet into his lap. After a brief inspection of the injured foot, he began to gently knead the muscles of her other one as they talked. "How did you feel about that?" Maybe it wasn't what he was supposed to say or ask at the moment, but he couldn't help himself. He was curious about her reaction.
