Belinda tried to give him a stern look when he grinned at her like that. She was trying to be serious, sort of. But when he gave her a look like that…she couldn't hold onto it very well. She just shook her head when he said he'd say anything.
"Don't do it again," she warned him. Though her lips curved upwards slightly, in a small smile, she was far from joking or kidding. Though Bee was sure he knew that.
If she were to be an adult, she'd realize that she herself didn't always have the courage to face things. Hell, she avoided her parents about the move until recently. Though that wasn't something she was thinking about or remembering at the moment.
"It's just kind of nice to actually know. To kind of understand." And it was. Oddly, it made her feel better. However selfish that was. "And apologizing generally makes people less mad," Bee added with a smile.
