Mike knew Harvey was teasing, but then when had that ever stopped him? "And stylish too." He added, that was really what they needed. Finding themselves in another dimension, forced to be a part of some sort of government agency, getting laser vision - they really were going to end up being the X-Men, you know if the X-Men were all incredibly put out with getting super powers in the first place and they'd rather spend their time doing anything but crime fighting.
And taste too, Mike smiled at that suggestion, face still turned up toward the ceiling. It was strange how things like holograms and what they were talking about seemed impossible and yet Mike felt like all those impossible things really should be possible here. Or at least more likely. There were times he'd wished he was more into science and numbers, that he'd spent more time reading about those subjects than the ones he'd put his focus on - then maybe all of this would make more sense to him.
"I was thirteen, lived there about two years." Closer to a year and a half, what with moving after his birthday the first time and before it when he left. "It was a good neighborhood." That much Mike could admit to, especially now. Especially having grown up to really see what Hell's Kitchen was like, more than just the draw of Trevor and all of his stupid plans. "I just hated moving and leaving my friends."
Mike couldn't help the short breath of amusement when Harvey mentioned the lack of a 'hood' in Iowa. "Iowa's not really known for it's 'hoods." Mike agreed, but then it brought him up short. Because the Harvey he knew was at home there in New York, in big fancy apartments and suits that he couldn't imagine anyone from Iowa knowing they existed let alone owning. "You're really from Iowa?"
