Harvey looked over at the boy with raised eyebrows when he spoke, but he nodded, he was right. It wasn’t working out very well for him, but kicking something was making him feel better.
After almost sleeping with Brian not long after he’d arrived and then seeing the man with what was clearly his boyfriend or something Harvey had decided to steer clear of the entire thing. He didn’t want to be involved, at all and he didn’t want to disapprove, which he already did, so he didn’t want to outwardly disapprove. Plus he felt guilty just for flirting back and really didn’t want to be confronted with that, regardless of their arrangement was. He simply wasn’t interested in something that messy, not even a little bit.
Clearing his throat he wiped his hands on his thighs, stilling the bag that was still swaying and stepping forward to shake the boy’s hand. “Harvey Specter,” he said quickly before he glanced back at it. “Nah, it’s fine. I’m done,” Harvey said, grabbing the towel and wiping his forehead with it quickly.
Grabbing his wallet, phone and cigarettes that he’d abandoned beside the bag he looked down at the new screen. “It isn't really my phone, it’s not going to have emails from my job but I still can’t seem to stop checking it,” Harvey said with an empty little laugh. He’d never gone this long without talking to the office and it felt wrong not to be constantly checking his emails, taking calls, sending texts, all those important things. Not hearing his phone ring almost constantly just felt wrong.
