This was the problem with being here, Mike was used to looking at Harvey in a certain way. Harvey was his boss and they worked together and that meant certain things for how they interacted and the things Mike let himself notice about him. They had only been here a single day and it felt like those carefully crafted walls he'd built up labeled work and boss and appropriate relations were all ready getting ready to topple over. And so he could actual notice things about Harvey he might not have otherwise.
"People like the skinny tie." Mike said only a little defensive, besides he'd look ridiculous with the sort of ties Harvey wore, he all ready looked enough like a kid dressing up in hand me down suits without adding things like that. Mike did smile when Harvey spoke about Jessica, they had an interesting relationship, and one Mike had only seen from the peripheral. "Things I'm sure she'd kill you for if you even thought about telling me."
Mike chuckled pressing his face into the curve of his arm when Harvey reminded him he'd been young once. "Really? Because I kind of like this image I have of you with three piece suits running around the playground." Mike rested his cheek against his arm so he could face Harvey while he leaned out the window. "I know you will be." Though Mike thought it was far more likely that Harvey would be the only one getting his job back if they ever got home. "Still eidetic memory," Mike said tapping his temple. "Can't help it."
