There were so many things Mike could say to that, about the weeks it would take before they could leave on their own, what that time would mean for someone in a state home, not to mention the very simple idea of a regular paycheck, even if it wasn't much. Harvey had spent all those years getting what he wanted, Mike was only just starting to see how maybe he could have the things he wanted.
He could have argued it, reminded Harvey that the watch was his and how it didn't feel right to take one of the very few things Harvey still had from their lives before they ended up here. Especially when he didn't even know if he would be able to get the money where it needed to go if he could manage to sell the watch.
In the end though he put it in his pocket like Harvey told him to, without argument and without pressing the matter further. "Thank you, Harvey." He said quietly, his gratitude for the thought that Harvey had shown for him clear in his tone.
He ducked his face and smiled when Harvey laughed, laughter was good right then - necessary even. "I know all about your ego, Donna warned me." He assured Harvey.
