"Don't get any ideas either." Mike warned Harvey with a brief suspicious glance, because he could just see it, dog bowls and collars and whatever else it was people got for dogs, a chew toy or something. It was hard enough trying to prove that he wasn't just some kid around here without Harvey adding to it.
He understood why Harvey pushed, well eventually he understood why Harvey pushed. It wasn't always apparent at the start, and there had been more than one occasion where Mike had been ready to bang his head against the wall for all the good it would to to help him understand what it was Harvey wanted from him. But understanding didn't necessarily make it easier.
Twirling the chopsticks around his finger Mike waited for some sort of validation about what he'd found, only to have Harvey close it and start working on his computer. "That's it?" He asked, he wasn't disappointed, he knew a high five wasn't happening, but a little acknowledgement might have been appreciated. "I've been reading through those files for hours, did you even look at it?" He was right, he knew he was right - the information he'd found was what they'd needed, but would it be too much to ask that Harvey at least check it?
