He didn't like the PR bullshit, but there'd been a time when he'd had to play that game -- to a much lesser degree -- and he understood it, even if he didn't bother with it because he understood it was pointless in the end.
"There will be another email once the reservations are made and rooms assigned. It won't be as simpering and flattering, but it will have the pertinent details." G would have to do that one himself, or course, or else they'd be pulling people out of bed again.
"I'm glad somebody does," he returned seriously, at least as far as his expression. "These are thankless tasks. But, I do them for you guys." Feigning thoughtfulness, he finally shook his head. "No, I think putting you and your son together is the best solution for all. Really, the only other option would be for you to share a room with me and we both know you've never gotten much sleep when I've crashed with you."
