Michael didn't like what he was hearing, and he didn't like this Leon. And he certainly didn't trust him. He had learned long ago not to trust people like Vance. You didn't go into NCIS because you were competent. You go into NCIS because you couldn't cut it in the Company.
"Neither, I wasn't affiliated with the federal government in our home reality," he'd play along with this charade for awhile, "aside from being a United States citizen."
