Sean wasn't sure how he felt about all this. Sure, he'd proved he could do this much, even handle the gun without shaking anymore thanks to his dad. But...he wasn't sure he could be truly happy about being an 'agent'. A spontaneous hug from his dad and hearing him saying he was proud of Sean, well, that Sean could be happy about and he squeezed his dad tightly. Really, that was what mattered to him most. "Thanks, Dad."
That conversation when his dad had told him he used to sing to Sean seemed so far away. Sean had almost forgotten it until the memory card was pulled out of a pocket. "I'll take both," he said after staring at his dad with a goofy grin on his face for a moment. He hugged his father again. "I can listen to the CDs at home and keep this in the getaway bag. And, I know I didn't inherit my voice from Moms, so you can't sound that bad," he added with a grin.
