Re: Leon, John, Brian
John might be only eighteen, but he was far from stupid. Nor did one need to understand a time-dependent Schrödinger equation to know Vance wouldn't call to join the Director and Brian for a nice fireside chat. Honestly, John got the impression most people would prefer he not have much to do with Brian. It was probably because of his age and Brian's proclivities and what they all thought was going on and wasn't. Again, not rocket science to figure it out if you looked.
He did have to bite back a groan, however, once Vance explained about the certification and qualifying. Certifying was good. But, damn it, couldn't Brian leave well enough alone in trying to annoy Callen and just get the qualification over with and done? While John might have been a little surprised Vance was asking him to train Brain, he didn't say anything, just nodded. A week with no access to the club was a brilliant move, but only if you didn't know Brian could get on and off base without being seen.
Oh, this should be interesting.
"I've got time." It wasn't like he was doing anything but research. All the things he'd done for Peter had been turned over to Garcia when John was put on OSP and Major Crimes took over Peter's case. And Callen didn't have anything for him to do other than the same training they were all doing.
