"That's fine." As long as it wasn't one of the kids, his brother could have anyone wait on him he liked, if it was legal. G shook his head. "I didn't say you would. I just don't care much for most people I've known in the Agency. It was a job I didn't regret leaving and I didn't keep in touch." Well, alright, he hadn't kept in touch with pretty much anyone he'd worked with in the past beyond what was needed to keep contacts he might need later. Jethro was really the only one he stayed in contact with because he actually liked the man and considered him a friend.
"If they hang all over me in my own home...?" He didn't finish the implied threat, even though he knew he wouldn't carry it out. They were his brother's friends and that was what masks were for. G had enough masks he could play the companionable older brother if that was the required role. The sad reality was how easily he was slipping into that role right there in the kitchen just talking about it. "I suppose flirting with your friends all night just for Sam's amusement is probably out of the question, then," G added with a smirk.
A part of his mind noted the change in his brother's posture, but his own was changing as well, relaxing and accepting as he slipped further into that persona of someone who wasn't in desperate need of a three foot bubble of personal space. "We're not talking about the outside world. We're talking about interactions between friends. Even here in the house, when was the last time you saw anyone but Savannah get this close? And, proposals don't count." That had been out of the norm for them, kissing in front of the entire family. Hell, they barely even touched sitting next to each other on the couch to watch the game and they were a hell of a lot closer than friends. "The person who slaps me on the ass gets their hand back in a box as a suivenir," he said conversationally, idly wiping at the wet spot his brother had just left on his cheek.
Given another minute, he'd have a cover completely built for this and it wouldn't bother him at all until he got some place private.
