Dom squeezed her shoulder and kissed her temple. He knew that a similar thought had entered her mind, but it was easier to acknowledge it with gestures than words. "I want to do whatever makes it easy for you," he answered. "I have a great deal of respect for your father, and if he asks me to stay out of his house, then I will, but I'm not putting you in the middle of this and I don't want you to think that I never come over because I don't want to spend time with you. Talk to him, and if it's okay, you can tell me. We'll figure out the best way to do this without inconvenience anyone."
Dom chuckled. "I'm sure it's in all the manuals handed to special ops." He thought about her question, because want was never something he had considered. "I think powers are very cool," he started carefully. "I think they look a lot cooler when someone else has them." He shrugged. "Maybe one of the physical ones, like control the internet, that's be awesome."
