RP: G and Robert Who: G Callen and Robert Callen Where: Their house When: Sunday, July 17, 2011 Summary: G is informed of Robert's discovery.
No longer having an office in the house made it difficult to get some work done in peace and still seem available to the rest of the household if they needed him, G had discovered. He really only had two options:
Go down to the basement and leave the door open, which cut into the time others could use the room for training.
Or, he could stay in the room he shared with Sam and, again, leave the door open, which still seemed to discourage some of the others from seeking him out there.
So, he was back to where he'd stared in the first house, it seemed. Sunday mornings, before whatever barbeque or group meal they had planned with the others, G could be found in the living room, laptop at hand, whatever paperwork he'd been putting off stacked on the coffee table, morning news on the television kept low until the others got up, coffee cup next to the stack of files. Despite the wrath of Hetty looming over him if the paperwork didn't get done -- and, really, there was as much paperwork for this training and cover as there had been after cases. It was exhausting. -- G welcomed any distraction from it once the others were up.
He really disliked the paperwork and administrative side of the job.
"Hey, morning." That morning, it appeared distraction was coming in the form of his brother. "Tell me you've brought me something pressing that requires my immediate attention and can't wait for paperwork to be filed."
