"I thought as much." Sam shared his opinion on getting their pictures taken. And, besides, if she'd told him, she also would have coerced Sam into writing something of his own, somehow. "She said all the photos are on the memory card she gave me with it -- back-up in case something happens to the scrapbook if we have to run -- and she didn't let anyone keep ones with the two of us in them." Stretching out, he sighed. "I'm trying not to push her away." He wasn't sure he could be quite as optimistic as Sam. After all, Savannah was pretty persuasive when she put her mind to something. But, he was going to just accept the scrapbook for what it was and who it was from.
Humming softly, G tilted his head to give Sam better access to his neck, at the same time moving even closer to run his hands over Sam's chest. "I don't know. I mean, I have guesses... It could stem from what happened when I was ten, like the thing with my wrists. It could be something else I've repressed. It figures in some of my nightmares. But, it could just be one more thing that's twisted up here." He tapped his own temple. "I don't have any of these issues working because I'm not me when I work. There's always something of a mask in place, something that let's me put the personal problems out of the equation." Returning the smirk, he traced his fingers around the edge of Sam's shirt at the neck. "We don't, hm?
"So many puns to be made off that gold corkscrew pin of yours, so little time to choose just one," G said with a laugh, letting talk of nightmares and Fate slide away before they really did jinx something. The issues with his blood family couldn't be put away as easily, though. "Eventually. He even said we have a lot of things to talk about. I just don't know what I'd say to him about this. It's my issues; it doesn't have to be his.
"Sex on the wedding night?" Pulling back a little, he looked thoughtful, piecing together evidence at a crime scene. "I hear normal people do that. Do we want to be like normal people?" Of course, he then kissed Sam without giving him a chance to respond to the teasing. Some things that were 'normal' weren't bad at all.
