RP: A day at the beach
Who: Open to anyone
Where: Coney Island
When: June 19, 2011
Summary: A day at the beach
It wasn't exactly surfing, or California (or Rimini, or la La Côte d'azur), but Robert knew when to count his losses and go with it. Coney Island was the best they'd get at this point, and he'd take it. It was much better than another one of those Southern BBQs. When the hell had they all become rednecks?
Getting here had taken some planning for this. It was good that all the other agents were going and had told the people in their homes that they could go. Of course, that was only the start. Transportation was the key factor, not surprising. Twenty something people and three cars didn't exactly match. So there were cabs called, but Robert was pretty sure that G was developing a profound hate for this trip. Not that Robert had expected G to come in the first place. It probably would have been better for his blood pressure if he hadn't, but Robert couldn't say that.
The beach was crowded as one would expect on a summer day, although there were very few people in the water. Sure, the water was cold, but outside it was hot and Robert had every intention of swimming. The rest could play with the sand.
