Re: Robert/Mike
Mike wasn't sure he was ever going to get used to these group dinners they did around here - the novelty had all ready worn off, and instead left Mike with the knowledge that this was his reality now. Team dinners together, and people trying to figure out how to relate to one another, and all sorts of things Mike had been able to avoid dealing with for years since he'd become a field agent.
"The perfect solution, eh?" He smirked when Robert found him. "I wouldn't expect any less from you, so let's hear it." He grinned, if nothing else Robert's plan would provide a decent distraction from the rest of the people who'd gathered.
Coney Island, and Robert ran down a list of all the reasons why it was a fucking terrible idea. If the weather held up there would be plenty of other people who had the same idea, he didn't even want to think about security at a place like that, a boardwalk, a theme park. "When you decide on a plan you certainly don't hold back do you?" He chuckled, though he didn't write the plan off completely, they had a good deal of certified agents all ready, and come Monday they'd have a few more - not that it mattered for this. "I think we could probably swing it, if we get enough agents on board, like you said."
