Jenna sighed, they could be however they wanted to be together - that still wasn't the point and it didn't seem to matter really since her dad had all ready decided how things were going and what was happening, so she just let him talk about partners and the way they were together and just all of it.
"I respect him, it's never been about." Jenna said shaking her head, not sure why she even bothered when it was so apparent that her dad wasn't listening to her. He never did, so why should this be any different? "No, by feelings I mean you brought someone into our family and have decided he's a permanent fixture without giving anyone a chance to know him first. You went and changed what our family was without ever giving Sean and I a chance to have it in the first place. If I didn't think he wasn't going somewhere this would be easier, I know you're with him and it's not about that."
"You might not be talking about family and feelings and anything else, but that's what this is about whether you want to see it or not." She shook her head. "Maybe for you it's not about feelings, you've had years to know what you're feeling - I haven't. Now, I can and have respected him, and I will continue to do so but the feelings are going to take time and you're just going to have to accept that. So unless you're going to give me a calendar and mark all the places where I'm suppose to get him something then this is just going to have to be something you wait on." She told him. "It doesn't change what I think and feel because you've decided that's the end of this."
