"Yeah I know, like to give you a chance to do that sometime - I know how everyone else isn't ever givin' you the chance." Tim sighed, eventually he'd hear it and listen, the question of whether or not he believed it would remain to be seen he just wasn't up to it right now.
"As opposed to them deciding a bunch of nobodies from other dimensions aren't worth keeping around and killing us all outright." Tim countered and shrugged - he was sure they had all thought long and hard about the reasons for keeping these powers secret. "I'm sure I'd find any power freaky, no matter what it was." Tim assured Derek with a sigh, what was so wrong with not wanting to be like this? With wanting to be normal? Derek tried to make him feel like he was some sort of asshole for wanting a normal life, like it wasn't something people got.
"Those holes in the wall don't really look like I'm adjusting fine." Tim said with a nod, he was more concerned with his hands though, opening and closing his fists while they talked, trying to see if there was any sign of what he could do in them, if he could see the energy there, he hadn't really been paying too much attention when it had happened before, just seen the results. Only now that the headache seemed to be gone and he wasn't upset it wasn't just happening like it had before. "Maybe, it still sounds stupid though."
