He never thought he'd say this, but he actually liked Deeks. He wasn't stupid and didn't go around with a stick up his ass. In fact, he was pretty humorous, sometimes amusing, and sometimes just easy to get along with, like now.
"I'm not an asshole, I'm just so in love with you that I don't know how else to show my affections, and since inviting you on a date in an astral plane isn't enough, I had to pull your metaphorical hair," he said, grinning.
"For the record, I still don't get what you mean," he said. "Or maybe I do and I don't like it. Most people with this sort of power can affect the real world by either possessing the body or by hurting the person there. Break the mind, and the only thing left behind is a man in a vegetative state. I'm thinking that we should try and avoid that one. And possessing? It seems a little too intrusive for our first date," he teased. "Seriously, though, I don't want to jump into this. I have no clue what either of our powers are, and I don't want to get either one of us hurt. I can't just float around like you said, because that would give myself away, so I have you, and I'll rather keep you in one piece. Callen might understand, but Savannah won't. Now, should we try something else."
