Eliot nodded at her summary, then answered her question, "First and foremost, assess your skill set and put it to the best use. As a doctor, you'd be best served with hand-to-hand to get to pressure points, bone breaks, and in using knives. Learning to use a gun isn't a bad thing, but relying on it instead of yourself is a deadly mistake."
Talking was helping, Eliot found. He was still ticked as all get go, but at least he wasn't going to put a hole through a wall any longer. "Then there's personal security - the best way to protect yourself is to know how to spot danger and avoid it, and it's not by locking people up or keeping tabs on them."
