April and Eliot
April couldn't help but to think that the rules were a bit strict. It wasn't that she didn't understand the reason for them, she did, perhaps even more than she wanted to, but she wondered if in the need to keep people alive, the need for people to actually live was sometimes forgotten. She thought of her date out on the town with Westen, of being alone just the two of them and having a good time. Would that be possible to do again?
She watched the reactions around the room, and it wasn't hard to see who was most annoyed in the room. As Eliot stormed off, she pushed her own thoughts to the side and went after him. Eliot had not been here long, and she wanted him to feel as comfortable as he could here. She wasn't far behind, but with the speed he was going she still had to call out.
"Eliot, wait up!" she called, hurrying. "Are you okay?" she asked as she got close enough that they would not be overheard by anyone.
