Re: Eliot/Derek
"I'm having one conversation. I'm also able to cover multiple subjects in one conversation. In fact, that ability is rather critical if I want to get anything done. It's also rather relevant when you claim that your problem with staying inside is related to our security plan, but refuse to offer a solution for that security plan." Maybe this wasn't the appropriate way to defuse the situation, or any situation, and generally Derek would have more patience, but not with an ex soldier who should know how to follow orders.
Derek looked calmly at the man. "Let's make something clear. We all care about the shape we're in. You can also train from five pm to midnight if you really want to. That's seven hours; that's two more than the five hours you could put from three to eight. You can train from 0300 to 0800 in your basement. You may not be running outside, because you will be arrested. Is that any clearer?" Good God, he thought that with Abby's death, they were done with the whining. He guessed he was wrong.
