Dom shook his head. "The scary thing is that I haven't. I'm coming up with this on the spot. It's more the sum of so many little things that he's said during the months, never knowing if he was serious or joking, although the general consensus was that he was serious and only pretending to be joking."
He rolled his eyes. "There's no need for that. Anyone who'd have a break through in the middle of a video game already knows that. Really Jenna, you must have not hung out with many geeks in school. It's a shame."
Shrugging, he looked at her. "I don't even know if it's that. Vance, Hetty, Callen, they are people of action. Even scheming is an activity. This isn't something they know how to do, just sit and wait isn't who they are." This discussion was making clear that he would have to talk to them, or they'd never go home. "I don't need to keep busy. I have research to do. I have plenty to focus on. In fact, I might have even managed to find someone to date," he said. "Unless I'm reading this wrong, in which case I apologize, because I don't need a woman kicking my ass, even if she's a Marine."
He snorted. "I don't do it for a second, and you might, but we should stop talking about. Here, let me show you something." He got up and close the blinds, before getting back on bed. "Lie down with me." He realized after a moment how that sounded. "I just want to show you something."
