Re: Dom/Jenna
"At least you'd always be prepared." Jenna could certainly see that being something her dad would support. she couldn't help snorting when Dom suggested her dad might have that bag ready to go every night, probably best not to mention the whole house did really. "Yeah, that sounds like something he would do." She agreed, instead - because it really did. She sighed but shook her head. "No, I don't think you get used to that, no matter how many times you go there." Not if you came back, and everyone came back for a little while at least. She couldn't imagine getting to a point where that stopped affecting her, where she was just completely at ease with the idea that her life was constantly on the line and people she knew were killed and she had to kill people. She'd do it because that was what she signed up for, and that was what she'd trained for, and that was how she stayed alive, but getting used to it wasn't something that was part of the training.
"I suppose I'll just have to be prepared for that then, just in case he catches me on one of those days when I don't need to be told." She laughed. "No one ever thinks about the importance of the geeks until it's too late - clearly NCIS is overlooking a huge pool of resources."
This really was the last thing she had expected when she decided to come to the pool this afternoon, but Jenna couldn't help but be glad with the turn of events. "Yeah tomorrow night sounds perfect," She nodded, things were too crazy to try and put it off too long, and she wanted to go so they didn't need to wait. "No, no tomorrow is good, we can see what all they have planned and figure it out after." She smiled.
