Parker smiled, it was strange relating with other thieves. Just like it had taken her time to get used to the team at home, it was another adjustment to be made and she couldn't help being glad for it. It was better than being in competition with them. "I know." She nodded. "People don't understand, April - she asks too many questions and expects certain answers to them. If you can't give her that it doesn't fit into her world view." She had done her best to avoid too many conversations with the other woman, preferring the company of people who didn't look at her like she was crazy for not wanting to tell them where she was from and what she did.
"You shouldn't worry about making them feel better." Not right then, and not later really. You only did that with the people you cared about - and maybe Parker liked some of the people here but the people she would actually try and make feel better were very few.
Parker nodded, "All right, I'll bring you a rig soon and we can go." She told him, and decided that was all they really needed to say. Instead she stayed there beside him, doing her best to keep people from asking Neal how he was just a silent support for as long as he needed her to be.
