Neal couldn't wait to get home and hide away; this was one of the days that was going to drag on Neal knew there was no way his disappearance would go unnoticed. He still didn't feel happy saying goodbye to Peter - it was too soon - but he understood the need to get on with the funeral and the cremation. It was too dangerous to keep any sort of bodies or records that could be found or tampered with.
When Parker came up to him, he looked across at her. "Thank god you didn't say you're sorry. I've heard that way too much over the last few days," he said, sighing in relief. "I... Wouldn't know about the Smithsonian, I've never targeted it. Doesn't surprise me that it's a bitch to replace things though, a few places are like that. What's the security like in that place?"
"It sucks sometimes - You've suddenly got other people to look after," Something he had failed at. Not once but twice. Kate and now Peter. "I know I couldn't have done anything but it doesn't help."
