Parker and Neal
She'd kept her distance during the week, watching the way other people tried to talk to Neal and offer him some sort of comfort or understanding about what had happened. She didn't blame him for spending as much time as he could avoiding people like that.
Today though, Parker thought maybe was the time to say something to Neal, even if it wasn't much. She did her own steering clear of the group, ignoring conversations as she went until she found Neal. She didn't hug him, or tell him she was sorry, or try for any of those things she was sure people said at times like these like she had with Abby. Instead she stood beside him.
"I stole the Hope Diamond once." She told him. "After I started working with the team, we were ... things weren't good at the time and I was on my own and I needed something to do." And okay the diamond was sparkly and Parker liked that sort of thing. "I put it back though." She sighed, "Did you know it's easier to break into the Smithsonian to steal something than it is to break in to put something back?" She asked him. Particularly on the same night you'd gotten in in the first place. "I never thought working with other people would change me." But it had.
