"You'll be the first to know when I remember." He assured her with a wink and a laugh. Mike might have spent most of his time working alone but he enjoyed being around people - he had always liked the time he got to spend with the team when they weren't in the middle of a case. And Savannah was proving to be another one he could certainly enjoy spending time with. "Should I make sure you're around for that conversation too? Maybe you should just start following me around for words of wisdom and these encounters you're so eager to hear about." He chuckled.
He nodded, at least she wasn't batting around the bush with that. If they got back and still had these powers Mike was well aware things weren't just going to go back to normal. It was highly unlikely even if they didn't keep their powers after being gone for so long. The world moved on even without them around. "So I guess that means I better just start getting used to the idea of having you around then if we're going to be stuck together."
"All right you might have a point there, even in another dimension I can't imagine Hetty being much different." Even if certain things in that dimension were so completely different from his own. Even his own history in this dimension made it easy to believe almost anything could be different, but Hetty was Hetty no matter where she was. "Maybe they will, you're allowed to take bets if you like - though the odds won't be good." She might have gotten her fiance to reconsider long term relationships but Mike seriously doubted anything was going to come of her suspicions for him.
