"The point, Mr. Hanna, is that his way may not be as far from yours as you believe." Hetty kept her thoughts on those personal demons to herself. G's head had been...not the easiest of places to be that morning. But, she had faith he'd find his way out of it with Sam's help.
If the two would talk to each other and realise they were on the same page.
Nodding as he prepared to leave, Hetty wouldn't let herself wonder if she'd made the right choice in trusting G knew what he was doing. It wasn't her approval or Leon's that would give him the confidence he needed to do this. If the only reason he led was because of their say so, there was a real chance he wouldn't ever gain that confidence. Hetty was placing her own trust in Sam and the others to do what she couldn't.
Or she would have to choose someone else, no matter her personal belief in G's skills.
"Trust him, Sam. He needs to know you don't doubt him."
