"I'm..." She shrugged. "I'll be fine. Peter wasn't on my team but he was nice enough; it's never nice to lose a colleague. It's the civilians I feel bad for - It's not like this is common for them now, is it?"
She nodded, her mind already running over everything she'd need to do once she got back to the house. She'd have to brief everybody and run over the procedures again, make sure everybody knew their place in it. It was something that was mentioned a lot - Kensi was sure she wasn't the only one antsy over not being shot at on a regular basis - but they'd never yet had to enforce it in a real-life situation. That scared her more than a possible attack.
"I'll make sure we're all on high alert. It would be the best time to attack, that's for sure," she agreed. "When Derek's finished up talking to people, I'll mention it to him."
