Robert and Jenna
On a base, you could always feel when something was going on. You didn't have to know the details, but the things changes. The sounds were different, the movements changed. It wasn't one thing, but everything.
Today, it was more than evident that something was happening. When Robert found out, he was pretty much threatened by Vance, although he explained calmly that he understood the concept of orders and he wouldn't tell his brother what was happening. Not that Robert had never creatively interpreted orders, but he wanted his brother concentrating on what he was doing instead of a death he couldn't prevent.
Not sure what else he could do, he ended up at the team center where Morgan was conducting some type of informal therapy session. Robert wasn't interested. He didn't know the man, he didn't feel that sense of kinship that he felt with other pilots, so he stayed to the side. His eyes went to his house mates. It was weird being in the house with them, and now... was he supposed to say something? G talked about family, Savannah talked about uncles, but this was fucking weird. What was he supposed to say to his long lost brother's lover's children? And wasn't that a tongue twister. Still, he thought he should try and say something, especially when one of them was standing close. "Hey." Right, that was a perfectly good start. Now, he just needed to come up with the rest, which shouldn't be hard since he was a charming guy, very friendly, except that the brother thing seemed to have short circuited his brain. "You all right? Did you know him well?"
