Re: G and Robert
"Jesus. They really did a number on you, didn't they?" He cracked a smile. "I'm sure your kid would tell me how that's not the nice response, but man, I don't know what else to say. Our parents sound like major assholes," he said with a sigh. "Mine is February 19, and feel free to use that date, but we can pick something that has meaning. All those dates are general ones. How about May eighteenth? I found my brother that day, seems good enough reason to celebrate, and you can keep the bikes at your place, and the cars at mine."
Robert grinned back. "It wasn't an accusation but a statement of facts. Man, that would be nice. It'd put half of the population on the available list, not that it matters. In Italy, no one is gay, except when they fuck guys in secret." He looked at G for a moment. He didn't even have to think about what it all meant. He knew SEALs. They seemed to be cut from the same cloth, and when they weren't, they ended up dead or in the private sector. "He wouldn't jeopardize his career if he didn't care. The one, huh? I guess I could do worse. A SEAL as a brother-in-law is pretty cool." He clapped G's leg. "Your secret is safe with me. Now let's go back. I'm sure you have things to do and I'm supposed to be meeting people." Or stare at legs. Either would do just fine.
