Re: G and Robert
G smiled, but shook his head. "Not the first visit. The first time I come up, I'm visiting my brother, the living brother I never counted on finding who's offering to open his home-" The smile turning into a teasing smirk. "-and his garage to me. Not looking for the parents who watched from afar while I went through hell and called it 'protection'. The first time, I come up to see you. They've left us this long. They can wait to be found a little longer while we keep figuring out this brothers thing."
Cocking his head, G 'thought' about it. "That implies I'm not just as dangerous without clothes or cover. Nope." Physical weakness was rarely a concern if he wasn't hospitalized.
"Oh, but it's so much more satisfying up close and personal." G laughed. "All my cars are courtesy of Hetty and the job. She never gives me a bike if it's not for a specific cover. You'd think she thought I might get into trouble or something."
He took a breath and tried to find the right words. "This would be easier to explain if I could explain why the secrecy is necessary. Of course, the reason tells you who and the who tells you the reason." Laughing softly, G shook his head. "I mentioned I'm really bad at this? It's not really an obligation because of a test. It's...well, okay, part of it is selfish, honestly. It makes my life easier if you know. But, it is about my family. It's highly unconventional. But, I'd like for you to be a part of it, to get to know me. And, this is kind of a big part of it. As the person I'm involved with put it, this is it. 'The one', if you like, as much as Savannah and Deeks. Without the wedding."
