Re: G and Robert
He didn't have much to say to that. He couldn't change the past and he knew better than to ask about classified information. There was something he could say, though. "Not if." He sat and looked at his brother. "I know what I said that I don't care about our parents, and you work for one of the most resourceful agencies, so it's not like giving you money would help, but I can give you access to my house, my finances. Maybe something there will lead you to them, things that didn't seem important to me. I'll help you in any way I can."
Robert grinned. "I meant more being in a position of weakness, naked, no walls to use as cover."
He chuckled. "I shoot terrorists too, or at least dropped missiles on them, but I'm able to have fun even when I get off my Falcon." He nodded. "I get driving, although I like riding my bikes more. Maybe we can try something for fun one of these days, something that won't involve guns or bar fight. I'll find something that you'll like to do."
He had to laugh at that. "This isn't familiar for me either, the family part at least. It was always me and mom, but I had plenty of friends, then the squadron. Friends, I had plenty. Relationships, too, some serious, most not very serious, all with my name." There was really no question in his mind. "G, a secret is hard to keep if you want to tell someone. I don't know anyone here. You're the only family I have. If you want to tell me, then I'll keep your secret, but you shouldn't feel obligated, just because of a test. You barely know me, and if you want to keep it secret, that's fine too."
