Re: Callen and Clay
"Callen, it is," he replied and then let go of G's hand. "Monday eval, Tuesday test. Got it." He repeated the itinerary.
Clay looked around to make sure no one else was in ear shot. "I see. You should know that I suffer from severe arthritis in my hands." It wasn't something he would normally tell people, but he also knew that survival here would require them to think he was a team player, and offering such personal information would benefit that goal. "The doctor has been gracious enough to run some tests and provide me with some medicine."
"Definitely not like out west. You ride?" He asked although he was sure the man didn't. He was too stuck up for a motorcycle. "There is another business issue we need to discuss. My bike was confiscated from me when you found us. If I'm going to be a helpful as a mechanic, I need access to a bike. A good one." He had a sense of how these appropriations games worked. "I'd hope such a business expense could be accommodated."
