Derek had been watching the man who watched everyone else. Sure, he didn't like profiling colleagues, but it was hard not to when there was nothing else to do. It was even harder when he was in part responsible for determining where the man would be assigned to. However, watching from a distance could only last so long.
He grabbed a beer and a chair and brought it closer to where Eliot was sitting. "Hi, Derek Morgan," he said, offering his hand as he sat down. "How are you?"
