Re: Savannah and Clay
"Thank you," he said with a nod of his head. Naive people could be so much fun. "And nice to meet you, too."
He nodded after she got done talking about Charming. "Yes, it is nice. Much nicer where I come from, too." Part of it being nicer was because he ran the place. He missed being king of Charming. "It was weird seeing people who should have been dead just walking around the place. Even weirder seeing what life could have been like if choices had been made differently." That of course meant he wouldn't have had Gemma. And he couldn't fathom that. "Have you seen your home in this dimension?"
"It is what it is," Clay replied. "We're small town folk. But we know how to live and thrive in the big city. We make do. Always have. Always will."
He inclined his head toward her left hand. "Congratulations, by the way. If you need any help with logistics, my Queen has quite the ability with handling those." He grinned, mostly because he wanted to see how Gemma would react to this overly hyper ball of naivete. She reminded him somewhat of Cherry, who Gemma had whacked in the face with a skateboard. His grin continued.
