Re: Marty and Robert
"You know I wouldn't be surprised if Hetty managed to get you one of those, I swear that woman can get anything." Marty doubted anyone was going to give them a plane, but if it could be done then Hetty would be the one to make it happen. Of that he was absolutely certain.
"Oh she knows you can do it on your own, it's about spending time together and making friends with Savannah, and okay maybe a little bit about the shopping too. Though I don't blame you for wanting to do it on your own." Marty might like spending time with Savannah and talking with her, but he could see how that wouldn't necessarily be the case with anyone else. "Five thousand dollar jeans? I can see why you wouldn't really be in a hurry to work in those." They got a more than decent salary as far as Marty was concerned, but it was going to be an adjustment it seemed for Robert.
"Listen I wanted to talk to you about something. You know Savannah and I are getting married, and we're wanting the whole family to be involved. And that includes you." Marty started, better to just say it all at once than to keep putting it off the way he really wanted to, because he was certainly capable of that. "So I'm hoping you won't think it's too weird or anything since we didn't exactly get off to the best of starts and we don't really know each other yet, but I'd like to ask you to be one of the groomsmen."
