Re: April and Savannah
"I did," she repeated with a grin. "It's... it's home now. Even if I went to Memphis, none of my friends and family would be there. People make a home, and this is home." She didn't miss the smile when she talked about Mike, but she could wait for a few more minutes. "Thank you."
She sighed happily. "It's not one thing, but how he can't imagine life without me, and how he wants people to know, and he took the time to get a ring I like and taking me to places that meant something to him. It was very romantic," she said, smiling. "Well, I'm sure there will be planning needed and help as well, but before that, I want to ask you something. I'd like for you to be one of the bridesmaids, and I promise we'll pick a dress that will make you look gorgeous."
Savannah chuckled. "Of course I was right. I'm always right." She almost asked about what, but then April explained and she just hugged her friend. "Oh April, I'm so happy for you." She pulled back. "So seeing as in we're going out on dates, which considering where we are is rather hard, or we're having sex and sharing a bed and we're kind of exclusive type of thing?"
