Okay. So she had been wrong. This was much worse than anything she could have imagined, and what was more so, the man in front of her was clearly insane. Another dimension? The World Trade Center still standing? Roads with different names?
Or buildings perhaps? She stared at him, trying to piece everything together. She'd been about to cross the street. There had been no car and then suddenly there had been. She'd been in front of the hospital but it had had the wrong name. Then the men with guns, then waking up here.
"I want to see them," she said. "The towers. If what you're telling me is real I want to see evidence. I'm a doctor, I need proof. All my education tells me there are no such things as another dimension. I need evidence. I want to see them."
