Re: Savannah/Marty
"You said you can handle yourself on skates." He reminded her with a wink, she'd be fine that much he knew. But then she was moving again, moving the steadying hand from his waist and having him drop his hand from her shoulder while she changed their positions again, this time holding both of his hands while she skated backwards in front of him. This seemed like a recipe for disaster if there ever was one.
"It's not the training that I can't do, that I do. But the flipping and jumping and catching." He shook his head. He wasn't even going to touch the issue of trust. He could trust her to do her best not to let him fall on his ass today, but that wasn't the kind of trust he had issues with. "What you mean like you're going to do right now? Just kidding." He added quickly with a laugh.
Marty didn't think G or Hetty were as to blame as Savannah seemed to think they were, and they hadn't been the ones to talk the girl into suicide the way he had, but he wasn't going to do that here. They were going to have fun today. He'd all ready survived a shopping trip, they could make it through ice skating without incident. He wrinkled his nose when she asked about calling him Martin. It was so weird to hear anyone call him that, it had only been his mother, and teachers on the first day of school before he'd gotten a chance to correct them. "I suppose if Marty, or Deeks doesn't work for you, I can live with Martin." He told her before shaking his head. "Oh no, we are definitely not using my middle name."
