Gemma looked at him for a moment, touching his hair. She didn't even pretend not to enjoy the attention. she had missed him, and the kissing wasn't even close to what she wanted. She nodded with a smug smile on her face. "You'd better remember that." Not that she had any fears on that front. She was going to kill any bitch that got close to her man. She'd waited too long to have him back to let some young golddigging cunt ruin it for her.
She chuckled. "Sure, make a woman feel special and then you destroys her hopes." She kissed him again. "Let's go see our family and then we're going home and we're fucking for the rest of the night." Or at least for a few hours. Neither one of them was as young as they used to be.
The ride back was just as quiet, with only a few cars on the road, but as they drove through Charming things felt wrong. The motorcycles weren't there, there were business that weren't supposed to be there, and others that had disappeared. "What's going on, baby?" she asked, already reaching for her gun. "Holy shit, is that Hale?" The man was dead, she'd seen him die, and now, he was walking down the street. "What the fuck is going on? Maybe we should go to the shop and see what's going on."
