He snorted and nodded. "That explains a lot." He would never understand why people lived in places like this. Snow was fine in pictures, and maybe even one day a year so long as you had things like a fire and blankets and those girls who liked to spend their time in ski lodges up in colorado or where ever. But otherwise Deeks much preferred sun and sand to biting winds and snow.
"Have you even talked to this girl? It's like she can't even hear a word you say to her." Deeks sighed, he wanted Savannah to be happy, or if not happy then content with her situation for the time being, but he didn't even have a clue where to start in all of this.
"Brave the weather? It's like twenty degrees out there - I'm pretty sure I'll freeze to death." Deeks lamented when Sam told him his plan. Ice skating and Christmas lights, were those really supposed to work? Deeks was by no means a Scrooge this time of year, he put lights on a ficus in his apartment - or he would have if he were home, but he felt pretty sure Savannah needed more than just a little Christmas cheer.
"You know she hates me right? Well I mean ... she hates everyone, but I'm pretty sure I'm pretty high on her list." He'd talk to her, of course. If this would help Savannah then Deeks was more than fine with being a part of it, but he didn't really think he'd be the one to convince her to do anything.
